Northern Sydney and Beaches Hockey Association (NSBHA) is one of six Hockey Associations in the Greater Sydney region formed in late 2015 through the amalgamation of North Shore Women's Hockey Association and Warringah Hockey Associaiton. Today, NSBHA covers an area of 850 square kilometres taking in several Local Government Areas including Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby, Lane Cove, North Sydney, Mosman and the Northern Beaches. The Association's primary objectives are to protect and promote the interests of hockey across the north shore and beaches corridor of Sydney.
The Association has more than 5,500 participants (including players, officials, representative players and school girls), and features hockey clubs some with 100 years of history in the area. The Association has access to the sand based turf at Ku-ring-gai Hockey Centre, the grass fields at Frank Gray Oval, Curl Curl and Forsyth Park Neutral Bay and the indoor hockey facilities at the Marie Bashir Mosman Sports Centre, Willoughby Leisure Centre and at Abbotsleigh, Wahroongah.
