What is a Working With Children Check?
Adults who work or volunteer in child-related work in NSW must have a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
The Working With Children Check provides a unique number (the WWCC number) to a person who has been cleared to work with children over the age of 18.
All NSBHA volunteers will be asked to provide their WWCC and DOB for verification purposes.
The WWCC application is free for volunteers and costs $105 for paid workers.
The WWCC clearance lasts for five years and is continuously monitored for any new relevant offences.
Please notify the NSBHA President if you have a concerns or contact Hockey Australia’s integrity unit.
