NSBHA offers both Mens and Womens Masters hockey - for those players over the age of 34.
Women's Masters
NSBHA competes in the premier Women's Masters competition in Sydney - The Sydney Women's Hockey League (SWHL). The competition is played mid week at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush. Divisions 1 and 2 play fortnightly on Wednesday and Divisions 3 and 4 play weekly on Mondays. NSBHA currently have teams competing in all 4 divisions.
NSBHA also participate in the NSW State Championships at the end of July each year, typically nominating teams in all age groups (o34s, o40s, o45s, o50s, o55s and o60s).

Men's Masters
Teams from greater Sydney compete in the Sydney Masters Hockey Association competition on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush.
Effective January 2022, all teams wishing to compete in the NSW State Championships can only be entered by Affiliated Associations of HNSW - such as NSBHA. More information on this new format will be provided in the coming weeks.
The dates and location for the 2023 State Championships are:
Over 50s & over 70s - Armidale - 31 March to 2 April 2023
Over 34 - 40s and over 60s - Newcastle - 21 - 23 July 2023
Over 55s - Port Macquarie - 30 June to 2 July 2023
Over 45s & over 65s - Tamworth - 2 to 4 June 2023
