This 30-year-old pitch will finally get the upgrade it deserves! The funding is in place with a $2.72million grant from the NSW Office of Sport. NSBHA is currently working with the Education Department on the tender (due to close after Easter) and hopes to appoint a contractor by the end of April with construction happening sometime in May/June (subject to weather and availability of materials). This is incredibly exciting!
NSBHA is fully aware of the disruptions this upgrade is causing the local hockey community – especially to junior training and competition games. Having our only pitch closed for the 2023 winter season is nothing short of a nightmare! We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
