It’s been a busy term with NSBHA delivering Hockey in Schools coaching to Manly West Public School, Mimosa Public School and St Martins primary.  These are fantastic programs providing kids a chance to experience hockey in a safe and friendly environment with their school friends.  If you have children attending primary school and would like to have hockey come to their school please contact Di Brown.

After a 2 year absence, the Catholic Schools Hockey Gala Day returned with much energy and excitement.  Six local Catholic Primary schools attended the day with more than 300 kids running around under blue skies at Curl Curl.  In conjunction with Andy from Hockey NSW, NSBHA assisted with providing coaches and umpires for the day.  It was hugely successful and great to see so many children playing hockey – most for the first time.

NSBHA is planning numerous development activities in the new year including goal keeper, goal shooting, penalty corner and penalty strokes.   Dates and location still need to be determined.
