Playing hockey is a great way to make new friends, keep fit, enjoy great teamwork and have fun.
Hockey activities are available year round and cater for both boys and girls of all ages and standards.
Typically field hockey is played in the winter months and indoor hockey is played in the summer months.
Our small-sided hockey competitions are fun, social and inclusive games suitable for all ages and abilities
Divisions available for juniors, mixed teams, family teams, mens and womens.

Minkey Academy
When: Sat 9am – 10am (Term 2 and 3)
Sunday 11am -12noon (Term 1)
Where: SASR Narrabeen
Age: 4 to 8 years olds
Format: In a mixed learning and development environment to encourage skills and the joy of playing hockey with friends. It’s all about learning, growing, and rocking those hockey skills in fun games on small fields.
Format: Register through Manly Juniors or Seaforth Hockey Club or Warringah Hockey Association (Northern Beaches Hocky Comps).
Super 6’s
When: Term 2 and 3 (5 divisions played across the day)
Where: SASR Narrabeen
Age: 9-16 years
Format: 5 Players + Goalie
Half turf with full FIH rules and sideboards. The side boards keep the ball in play, interruptions are minimal, and the excitement is off the charts. No hitting allowed, and the ball stays knee-high. It’s the ultimate game for hockey newbies

Come and Try
When: Term 1 – Sunday and Term 2 and 3 – Saturday 11-12

Age: any age (4-99+ years)
Format: New to hockey? Give Hockey a Go! sessions are designed for players who are brand new to the game and want to sample hockey before committing. These free sessions offer a fun, inclusive and pressure-free introduction to hockey, giving players the chance to learn basic skills, build confidence and see if the sport is right for them — all while making new friends. No prior experience is required.

Super League
When: Term 2 and 3 Friday nights and Term 4 Wed nights
Where: SASR Narrabeen
Age: 13-25 (Friday nights) Open (Wed nights)

It’s a turbo-charged, super interactive hockey experience.
